Corporate Actuarial - MCEV/NBV
  • 1) Actuarial Valuation
  • Monitor and validate the information regarding to actuarial valuation in the system
  • Provide the actuarial valuation reports
  • -Statutory Reserving
  • -IFRS Reserving
  • -Life Dashboard
  • -New Business Values
  • -Risk-based Capital – Liability, RoRC etc.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of the actuarial valuation reports
  • Ensure all actuarial required changes in guidance are implemented
  • Submit the actuarial valuation reports to all relevant parties with accuracy and in timely manner
  • 2) Actuarial System’s Model Development
  • Propose coding/ programming changes to regional center of excellence team and perform UAT
  • Plan and implement program testing to define the financial and dependency impacts
  • 3) Financial/ Performance Management Report
  • Support team to collect the information and perform analysis on financial/ performance management
  • Provide and submit statistically financial/ performance reports to all relevant parties with accuracy and in timely manner
  • 4) Activity-based Cost (ABC)
  • Support team in tracking and monitoring the general expense allocation by channels, acquisition maintenance, direct-indirect, etc.
  • Collect the information, and perform analysis by comparing product allowance with the expense assumption
  • 5) Financial modelling for Strategic Dialogue
  • Perform financial modelling for three years plan numbers for base and sensitivities.
  • Ensure required changes in guidance are implemented.
  • Submit the forecast and plan numbers to Account, AZAP and Group Actuarial with accuracy and in timely manner.
  • 6) Insurance statistics for Office of Insurance Commission and Thai Life Assurance Association
  • Perform statistics required and submitted to local regulator and insurance association
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely deliver of the statistical reports
  • 7) Annual Assumption Review
  • Performing annual experience studies.
  • Analyse the experience.
  • 8) Setting of crediting strategy and declaration of bonus
  • Performing bonus investigation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Financial Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Actuarial, Finance and Accounting, Actuarial Valuations.
  • Risk management and assessment skills
  • Mathematics and statistical/ actuarial knowledge
  • Programming skill for Internal Risk Capital Calculation: VBA, Prophet, IFRS
  • Quantitative and analytical thinking skills
  • Fluent in English communication
